Iwis

Species sapiens, the ancient progenitors of Kiwis, who were almost exterminated during the War of Opules. Due to constant raids, they have evolved from primitive reptiloids into humanoid-birds of the Kiwi-sapiens. They have mostly retained themselves in Colbroom and other parts of Safir. Constitute a stout, fluffy sack of a bird, reaching the human stamina and the ability to communicate. Iwis were aging during the changing IIIrd century g.c., and had been almost gone into the extinction, until something had happened again.
