High-frequency trading, (HFT)

Order placement done solely by AI algorithms in matter of milliseconds. HFT is a powerful computer program capable of collecting massive pools of orders from all over the world for a second-two seconds hold. This gives the HFT algorithm space to collect and assess order stacks before they are sent to the actual market - enough time for the machine to decide whether to buy or sell an asset. Such advantages make HFT the fastest and the 'unfairest' trading method available. HFT usually consists of server rooms for data pools and powerful CPUs to process millions of orders transferred from the trading centre. HFT brokers are becoming widely available these days.
