Crickens

Species sapiens, insectoid sapiens, gentle and gracious cricket type humanoids. These forest-dwellers combine similar human traits with an elegance of an elf. With time, Crickens started losing some of their rudiment, insectoid cricket traits and moved onto something else. Intelligent and swift creatures, usually healers and advisers.

Re-adapted to be social, Crickens devise two groups: the city dwellers, usually of pale-brown colour and the forest - original Crickens in light-green. As the forest inhabitants, they know many secrets and mazes. If you meet a Cricken in dense woods, reckon — he knows the way out.
